How many days does it take to get started?
The basic setup is done in a day. But since we need to interact with you and agree on security settings, retrieve your licenses and sometimes also migrate your existing repository the process normally takes a week.
What do you need from us?
After you have placed your order, we need two things: your Sparx licenses and a list of IP addresses for white-listing for additional security.
What does the Sparx tool consist of?
The tool consists of several distributed parts: Sparx EA Client and Web interfaces (WebEA, Prolaborate) that are connected to EA Repository (SQL Server database) through application server (ProCloudServer).
Are the licenses for Sparx Systems software included?
No, you have to buy your own Sparx Systems software licenses and then Dynacore manages the licenses for you as a service.
Which licenses should I buy?
What is the difference between Sparx EA "named user " and "floating" licenses?
In both license types, every user has his/her own account. "Named" means that the license is assigned to the particular user and it cannot be used by other users. "Floating" means that the floating/concurrent license keys are available in a pool, and are handed out on a "first come first serve" basis and reserved during the session. When all licenses are in use, other users will have to wait for a license to be returned.
What is a "token"?
Tokens are used for integrations and WebEA users. One token is assigned to one integration point or one concurrent Web EA user. Token edition is a good start until you need 30-40 tokens per year. Then Team or Enterprise editions are more cost beneficial.
Where can I buy the licenses?
Dynacore is an official Sparx Systems' reseller and you can buy all your licenses from us. Send us an email (email@example.com) and we will invoice you and order the licenses for you.

Can we have more than one repository?
Yes, you can have up to five repositories for a small extra fee per repository.
How can we give our users easy but secure access to Sparx?
EA Client and WebEA support several authentication methods from Basic to Windows & Open ID authentication. In Windows authentication the user IDs are retrieved from external AD as well as User Groups are synchronized with AD Group thus enabling a model to trust a third-party authentication system to log in to a model and assign permission groups.
Is the Cloud service secure?
The environment is secured by Sectigo SSL and connection between Client and Server is an encrypted https connection. Connectivity availability and resilience to attacks is ensured by robust AWS infrastructure. The database layer is fully decoupled from application server and web server so that each layer has independent security mechanisms. Architecture setup adheres to high-end platform choices with SQL Server for database and MS IIS for Web applications.
How to you handle backups?
We run backups every night and stor the backups for two weeks. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to restore a previous version in case of an emergency.
What are the payment options?
You pay by monthly invoice. We send you the invoice on the first day of the month and you pay for the full month in advance. The payment is due in 10 days.
How do I add more users?
First you need to make sure that you have the right amount of licenses. Then you can send us an email (email@example.com) with the user details: name, email address and phone number. We add the user the same day and add the user to the monthly bill.
How much will the Cloud service cost?
